Olsen back to Space?
May 26, 2005 13: 03 EST
U.S. millionaire Gregory Olsen, 60, was supposed to go on a private space flight with SpaceAdventures last year, but health reasons kept him grounded. Now, the scientist might get a second shot. Restarting his training in Russia’s Star Town on May 16, Greg is again preparing for a visit to the ISS.
Gregory is back on track, after the Russian space program recently gave Olsen medical clearance to go. The $20 million trip is organized by Space Adventures Ltd.
Olsen, who co-founded infrared camera maker Sensors Unlimited Inc., hopes to join the October mission. Mush like Tito, Greg is not only well off - but actually also a scientists. He will bring his company's infrared cameras to do science experiments on the mission.
