Coolest houseboat in Marina del Rey anyone? NASA to sell shuttles at discount
This fall, NASA plans to sell off the shuttle fleet at $28.8 million apiece NYT reports.
The trouble is that you won't be able to do much with it. The shuttle is only built for space station altitude, and getting it ready for a surprise visit there will set you back one billion.
